Welcome to the official website of the Lambda Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.  Since 1978, the members of Lambda Upsilon Omega Chapter, have been woven into the fiber of Cabarrus County.  Our mission is to be of “Service to all Mankind” through our sorority initiatives to meet the needs of Cabarrus County residents.  

 

Our International Program theme is "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood." This theme has six initiatives which will guide us as we seek to provide impactful service to this great community.  Our focus will be on our local community needs, families, economic wealth, the environment and social justice, all while strengthening our sisterhood.  Through these initiatives, we seek to address and meet the specific needs of Cabarrus County.  

 

This year we celebrate 45 years of service to Cabarrus County.  Our goal is to continue to collaborate with community partners and citizens. Our charge is to enrich the lives of Cabarrus County residents with impactful programming and service. We look forward to being of service to anyone in need.
